The essence of our mission at Dinky Di Children’s Learning Centres and also the single, most important element to our values. The wellbeing of our Families and their children is our bailiwick and in combination with their friends, siblings and our entire team, gives birth, meaning and life to the Dinky Di FAMILY.
The expression of an intense feeling, the state of being passionate and devoted, and possession of a high level of enthusiasm and spirit.
We feel that these qualities within children must be encouraged and respected and then fostered, by giving the child the environment, the tools and the confidence to grow and develop.
We believe that ardency within our team is the foundation for the Dinky Di attitude that allows us to provide the highest levels of care, respect and service for our families.
A set of cognitive faculties including consciousness, perception, thinking, judgement, language and memory.
This is the focus of all our educational programs at Dinky Di Children’s Learning Centres and is delivered in care, play, music, and preparation for school.
We deliver training and resources for our team that allows for constant and continual professional development of the minds of our people.
Personality, interests, motivation, energy, spirit, culture, skills, intellect and talents comprise the individual child.
We pride ourselves at Dinky Di, not on grouping our children, but rather dedicating ourselves as a team and company to treating each child as unique!
This also extends to the way we bond and deal with the parents, our staff and one another. We look at the individual’s unique circumstances and the nature of the person, big or small, so we can tailor programs to suit the individual.
Love is many things encompassing a variety of different emotional and mental states, typically strongly and positively experienced. This emotion is typically free and boundless in the child and is cherished and adored at Dinky Di.
We also create teams that love what they do! Our directors and staff have families, as do the children that attend our centres. This is why we regard LOVE as one of our most important core values.
A state of mind which determines the behaviour and attitude of not only the individual, but a group, organisation and company. Youthfulness is about keeping fresh, young minds.
At Dinky Di we wish to maintain youthfulness in what we do as a company, which requires fresh and ever changing ideas.
Dinky Di kids need to be allowed to be kids! There must also be care, respect and acknowledgement of good and great ideas from ALL individuals in the company.
Every family that touches us at Dinky Di, from the initial enquiry to the graduation of a child, must have an amazing experience that is fresh and new; that they have never encountered before.
My son absolutely loves Dinky Di Terrigal. At the last daycare, we had him he was crying every time I left him. Thank you to Dinky Di Terrigal he races off to hang out with his Mates and have great fun. We couldn’t be more pleased with the daycare that Miss Cassie runs. As a working mum, it certainly makes my day go better when I know that my son is happily playing enjoying his day: getting muddy, doing art and rocking around with his friends.
Cassie and the team at Dinky Di Terrigal have been amazing, over the past few weeks, the kids have settled in really well. Drop off's were pain (and tear) free and the kids seem to enjoy their day so much I had trouble getting them to leave. I love the detailed reports during the day, explaining in depth what the kids had been up to and personalised stories of their adventures. The stories made me giggle and make being away from them for the day that little bit easier knowing they are being so well looked after. Thanks so much, I would definitely recommend Dinky Di Terrigal to anyone. 😊
Thank you so much to all the staff at Dinky Di. My daughter can be quite shy but since being at Dinky Di Terrigal her confidence has grown, she’s so happy to go to preschool, all the staff are amazing and go above and beyond, I have to say that love the great communication with the staff I especially love to read my email I get about my daughters day and all the photos with a big smile on her face, Thank you so much for making my daughters day at preschool so happy. Thank you so much I’m one happy parent.
We couldn’t be happier with Dinky Di. After changing daycares, we worried that it would take time for Quinn to adapt and settle again, but this was not the case. Quinn settled immediately and is always happy in the updates we receive. She’s loving her time at Dinky Di and we are very happy as well. We love the daily updates and pictures, the best part of our day is receiving them. The staff have been very welcoming, loving and caring towards Quinn.
When I moved to the local area I was hesitant to change my son’s daycare. I went to a couple of orientations at the local daycare providers and Dinky Di stood out from the rest. My son and I are so happy, he settled in quickly due to the way staff love and support him, every teacher in the daycare knows my child by name and likes, dislikes and comforts, even teachers that are not in his room. I also receive daily photos and updates of what he has been up to and also what he has eaten. I would recommend this school to everyone. One very happy mother and son.
“We moved our 4 year old from a small local centre (where she had been since 1yo) to Dinky Di Tumbi Umbi when she was diagnosed with a sensory processing disorder and a 12 month learning delay and it was the best decision we have made! She has advanced tenfold in language, socialising and toilet training in just 5 months. Our OT did a preschool visit after 2 months and commented that she was a different child and Dinky Di already had in place all the interventions she usually recommends to centres! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality, consistent and positive focused care”
