Family

The essence of our mission at Dinky Di Children’s Learning Centres and also the single, most important element to our values. The wellbeing of our Families and their children is our bailiwick and in combination with their friends, siblings and our entire team, gives birth, meaning and life to the Dinky Di FAMILY.

Ardency

The expression of an intense feeling, the state of being passionate and devoted, and possession of a high level of enthusiasm and spirit. We feel that these qualities within children must be encouraged and respected and then fostered, by giving the child the environment, the tools and the confidence to grow and develop. We believe that ardency within our team is the foundation for the Dinky Di attitude that allows us to provide the highest levels of care, respect and service for our families.

Mind

A set of cognitive faculties including consciousness, perception, thinking, judgement, language and memory. This is the focus of all our educational programs at Dinky Di Children’s Learning Centres and is delivered in care, play, music, and preparation for  school. We deliver training and resources for our team that allows for constant and continual professional development of the minds of our people.

Individual

Personality, interests, motivation, energy, spirit, culture, skills, intellect and talents comprise the individual child. We pride ourselves at Dinky Di, not on grouping our children, but rather dedicating  ourselves as a team and company to treating each child as unique! This also extends to the way we bond and deal with the parents, our staff and one another.  We look at the individual’s unique circumstances and the nature of the person, big or small, so we can tailor programs to suit the individual.

Love

Love is many things encompassing a variety of different emotional and mental states, typically strongly and positively experienced. This emotion is typically free and boundless in the child and is cherished and adored at Dinky Di. We also create teams that love what they do! Our directors and staff have families, as do the children that attend our centres. This is why we regard LOVE as one of our most important core values.

Youthfulness

A state of mind which determines the behaviour and attitude of not only the individual, but a group, organisation and company. Youthfulness is about keeping fresh, young minds. At Dinky Di we wish to maintain youthfulness in what we do as a company, which requires fresh and ever changing ideas. Dinky Di kids need to be allowed to be kids! There must also be care, respect and acknowledgement of good and great ideas from ALL individuals in the company. Every family that touches us at Dinky Di, from the initial enquiry to the graduation of a child, must have an amazing experience that is fresh and new; that they have never encountered before.
