From January 2023, your out-of-pocket fees for Pre-school are set to reduce. If your child turns 4 on
or before the 1 st of July 2023, you may be eligible to receive up to $2110 in fee relief. This will be
applied to your weekly fee account in addition to your Child Care Subsidy and reduce the amount of
out of pocket (Gap) fees you are required to pay. In some instances, this will mean your out-of-
pocket expense could be reduced to $0.
This is part of the NSW Government Early Years Commitment and is an exciting time for families who
may not have otherwise been able to access Preschool education.
At Dinky Di Children’s learning centres, we are excited to pass this saving on to our families and look
forward to working with you in the new year to see what this will look like for your family. We are
taking waitlist applications at all centres, so we encourage you to review your child’s Pre-school
requirements for 2023 and advise, as soon as possible, if you would like additional days.
